Paneer Kalimirch is one of the best recipes of all time. This is a very easy and tasty recipe of Paneer Kalimirch. This recipe is a combination of paneer which is dipped in a thick white gravy. The gravy is sweet and the Kalimirch(black pepper) is spicy which gives this recipe a great taste.
So, without wasting any more time let's get straight into the recipe.
Ingredients:-
For the gravy
4 medium sized Onions
1) Cut the onions into chunks. Split the chillies into two pieces.
2) Take a pan and add the onion chunks, cashew nuts, chopped garlic, green chillies, bay leaf, and cardamom.
3) Add 3-4 cups water and turn on the flame.
4) Boil this for 20-25 minutes on low heat.
5) After 20 minutes check if the onion has become transparent. If the onion has become transparent then strain the water and keep the boiled ingredients aside. Otherwise boil it for 5 more minutes.
6) Let the boiled ingredients cool. After they cool down separate the chillies, cardamom, bay leaf, and
7) Now, take a grinding jar and add some of the boiled onions, cashews and 2 tsp curd. Add 1 tbsp water and grind it to make a fine paste. Do it with rest of the boiled ingredients and curd.
8) Take a pan and heat it. Now add 2 tbsp oil. When the oil gets heated add the onion-cashew paste and paste and give it a nice stir.
9) Cook this gravy for 15-20 minutes in medium flame.
10) Take another pan and add some butter.
11) Now add 1tsp julienned ginger and 1tsp black pepper powder. Give it a nice stir.
12) Add the paneer cubes and saute. Coat the paneer with the butter and black pepper mix. Turn off the flame.
13) Add the cooked gravy in the pan with paneer cubes and mix them. Turn on the flame and cook this for 1 minute.
Your Paneer Kalimirch is ready to be served.
