Today's special recipe is Bread Chop. Bread Chop is a very famous recipe in Indian Streets. I like this recipe very much and today I'll tell you the secret recipe of how to make Bread Chop. I tried this snack for the first time in a food stall near my house and from that day I often went to that shop to have a bite of this amazing snack.
Bread Chop/Bread Pakora is made by stuffing potato mix between the bread slices and dipping them in a batter made of besan and deep frying them and served with ketchup/coriander chutney. Believe me this snack tastes amazing with tomato and coriander chutney. This is a step by step recipe of How to make Bread Chop with minimum ingredients available at home.

So, let's get started!
Assembling all the ingredients to make bread chop:
- 8 Bread Slices
- 2 medium sized potatoes
- 5 phoron
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
- 1 Red chilli (Broken from middle)
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Besan
- Salt (as per taste)
- 2 tsp Black pepper powder
How to make?
1. Take 2 medium sized boiled and peeled potatoes.
2. Mash them properly.
3. Take a pan and add the 5 phoron and roast it in low flame for about 1-2 minutes. (don't add oil while roasting.)
4. After roasting crush the 5 phoron
5. Take the same pan and add some oil and add the crushed 5 phoron, turmeric powder, salt, red chilly and give them a quick stir.
6. Now add some salt in the mashed potato and mix it well.
7. Add the mashed potato in the pan and mix all the ingredients well.
take out the potato mix in a bowl.
8. Now take the bead slices and cut them into halves same as we cut while making sandwiches.
9. Take one portion of the bread and spread some of the potato mix and cover it with another piece of bread.
10. Repeat the same process with all the remaining bread pieces.
11. After stuffing the potato mix in all the bread slices take a bowl and add the besan, salt, black pepper and mix them well.
12. Add some water and mix it to make a smooth batter.
13. Take a pan so that the bread pieces get dipped in the oil and start heating it.
14. Now dip the stuffed bread pieces in this mixture and transfer the dipped bread slices in the pan with hot oil to fry them.
15. Fry them in low flame till they become golden on colour.
16. Repeat the same process with all the bread slices.
Your Bread Chop is ready to be served.
Serve it with ketchup/ mustard sauce/ coriander chutney and you are going to love it.
